Our campus is located on Post Road across from Vickery Creek Elementary. Our building offers a state of the art facililty which includes well-equipped classrooms (for students ages 18 months-9 years of age), children’s gardens, a learning kitchen, a Montessori viewing room, and sound-proof music rooms. Montessori at Vickery has a home-like atmosphere that is both calm and reassuring to the young child. Upon entering our school, you will notice attention to detail in every aspect. We believe all children have the right to experience a beautiful and serene atmosphere. Our outdoor environment sits next to a nature preserve with large oak trees. We also have an organic vegetable, herb, and fruit garden where the children experience gardening and harvesting, taking their fresh-grown produce into the classroom for food preparation activities.
One of the focal points of our school is to provide a safe and secured facility. Therefore, the interior and exterior spaces are equipped with video monitoring devices. In addition, each parent and staff member must have a special access code to enter our buildings. Teachers are required to be First Aid and CPR certified. Our teachers are also required to complete rigorous training on the safety and well being of each child in our care. Our primary program is licensed by Bright from the Start Early Care and Learning.
The building also features wireless internet access and other state-of-the-art equipment and materials. Our facilities are beautifully appointed and our programs are highly desired.
Our Montessori school is open from 7-6:30pm daily and is easily accessible from Alpharetta and Cumming, Georgia.
